More Maury Povich Baby Mama Drama Fashion Tips

Yuppppper This is the Maury Povich Rap - Syleena Johnson is a very talented Grammy Nominee. On this Tune she’s paired herself with a Chitown Rapper Named “Cold Hard” from Crucial Conflict.

Do We Not have enough drama in this day and age without adding in Maury Povich ?

This was taped on the Maury Show on Feb 13th. she says in the song, that there’s enough drama on TV..

Our Question is - So why add to it Syleena ?

This song is about the “Jacket Phenomenon

now some of you are unfamiliar with the term “Jacket”. well in the caribbean we have a saying that if you can get a man to put on a Jacket you’ll soon have him in a full suit of clothes. these women who bring men on Maury for Testing are attempting to get the men to “Put On A Jacket“..

In Other Words, This Is Not His Baby. Hence the Maury Show references.

We think she could do a whole lot better in terms of material, but if this is her way of getting a whole lot of publicity for cheap - she did it.

Today’s reminder is “Never Underestimate the Power of a Jacket..

Method Man + Red Man = Man Oh Man !

Who doesn’t love Meth and Red Man ?

this is a touch of their tour and rumored cd release. I’ve been a fan of Red Man and Method Man as a duo since their first CD - wayyy back in 1999 - Blackout. they were label mates on Def Jam Records when they first recorded together.

When they came to town, I had to go see them. they’re wild and crazy on stage. it’s not like being at a concert, it’s more like being at a party with some of your friends, in somebody’s big ass basement, hanging and partyin.

they keep the whole house rocking from the moment they hit the stage.

their latest cd is rumored to be released in the spring of this year (2009); but this pushback is the second one for this release.  they are like two kids who feed eachother candy onstage and jump around, screaming, grabbing eachother, the audience, and dancing with everybody. they snatch women onto the stage when they need a woman to do a part in one of their songs.

most memorable to me is their remake of “Who Shot Jane”.. Oh Bwoyyyyyy..

This is Symphony 2000 which includes EPMD, Method Man, Red Man - All Kicking It.

EPMD Would have to share the credit for this being a megahit with these guys because nobody makes you think more comically and colorfully than Method Man and Red Man.

Be On The Look Out for the sequel to their hit cult classic movie - “How High“  to be released later in 2010. it’s being written now; and is set to be filmed during the summer of 2009. it’s sure to be another cult favorite, if Meth and Funk Doc get their hands into the production.

Give it Up for the Funk Doc and Mr Tical - The Men !

this is a Link to their Wikipedia page , it’s got great info and lots of links, Enjoy.

What is Sexy ? Eartha Kitt, we will always remember your magic

Eartha Kitt with her daughter Kitt Shapiro

Today we lost a legend. someone who will always stay in our hearts and memories. she was the intoxication of sexiness in a smooth brown wrapper.  she walked right into the white house and told them why Vietnam was wrong. never mind that she was the original Ms “Santa Baby” .

that’s some serious bling she’s flashing in this pic from last year. she was a Diva in every sense of the word. her impeccable style and taste. she was a trend in reality

who else but the one and only Sex Kitty - Ms Eartha Kitt.

this is from Wikipedias’ page on Ms. Kitt

Born Eartha Mae Keith
January 17, 1927(1927-01-17)
North, South Carolina, USA
Died December 25, 2008 (aged 81)
New York, New York, USA
Spouse(s) John “Bill” McDonald (1960–1965)

Today, after this startling news; in tribute we break from our normally intended content to pay tribute to one of our most beloved icons.

Le Kitt, she was delicious, sexy, and vibrant.

They talk of her way of purring. we hear that’s what made her the ideal Cat Woman.. and unarguably no one has since come close.  She Was the daughter of a Black and Indian Female share cropper from South Carolina,  and the son of the white man, who owned the plantation. not nice but typical still in the south in those days.

Eartha who was a beautiful and charming child by all reports; was sent to live with relatives who didn’t see her worth, after her mother died. Finally after years of abuse, she was packed up and sent north to Harlem to live with her mothers sister. This all happened before she was ten. Thank God someone recognized her talents and began the cultivation, that would give us the legend.  we will always remember - Ms Kitt.. the Original Miss Thang.

it is rumored that in the nineteen fifties when racial mixing was a big taboo - she was the mistress of producer and actor Orson Wells. why we wondered ?  she was also linked to Charles Revson of Revlon Fame. we wonder, was it the intoxication of power that made her the bad gal she truly personified, in all her stage and screen roles ? it was Orson Wells who called her “The Most Exciting Woman in The World”.. wow.

Since she was such a big star, we’ve spread our coverage out over our three website blogs.  For more on her european cabaret career, click here . for the rest of our coverage, including more of her music and her videos click here for our main site; which has the bulk of our news coverage. (btw, all three are seperate entrecard sites - so drop and roll folks)

It’s often mentioned that she is always seen as an actresses who transcends the color line and makes color irrelevant. Producers and Directers say that when she took on any part, she made it her own. it’s clear that all actresses who portrayed Catwoman after Ms. Kitt, never met the audience expectations of the sexy villianess that came to life through the skills of Ms. Kitt. Grrrrrrrrrrrr..

many belive that as she expressed, coming from a mixed race family structure contributed to her fierceness of spirit and her gorgeous package. she was a petite bombshell. there will never be another woman like Eartha Kitt, and today we celebrate her Glory.

she leaves to mourn her loss, her daughter Kitt Shapiro, and four grandchildren.

Thank You Ms. Kitt for All Your Beauty and Sass; You Will Always Be Our SHERO !
