Who is listening to this Cartoon Logic ?

Controversy,,
Aaron Mcgruder - creator of the Boondocks Cartoons
is jealousy the motive or just plain ignorance ?

Aaron McGruder - the creator and cartoonist of The Boondock cartoon series, has made a statement regarding President Obamas’ Blackness.

During a recent speaking engagement in Indiana at Earlham College, McGruder expressed his opinion about President Obamas’ Blackness. He Said that President Obama is not Black Enough because he doesn’t see any relation to Slavery in his heritage. What ?

he also said that Michelle Obama is the only Authentic Soul Sista in the Whitehouse.

this is disappointing to say the least, but not unexpected from the person who brought us Stinkmeister..

Aaron, This is Who You Are - So Stop the Nonsense.
You are not Ricky Kittles; and you certainly don’t make any one proud with this type of portrayal of Black Folks as Morphing Idiots. Maybe Aaron was really expressing the feelings of repressed hostility inside himself. he does it alot in his cartoons, which is what makes them so hillarious. this time however, it’s not funny.

Do You Have a Dream ? We Do

Our Memories of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. are fresh. just like it was yesterday. as a small child we were in a civil rights activist family; who attended rallies, marched and always participated when called upon.

We Remember This Speech, because family attended.  My Mom took time away from work and went to DC. to be with her sisters, My Aunts; who all attended the March on Washington, Together as a Family.  this is the way My Son and My Brother attended the Million Man March in Washington. This is also the way I attended Many Many Rallies and Marches all over the US and World. Activism Is In Our Blood - Thanks To MLK Jr.

My Mom spoke about it, until her death. she talked about seeing MLK Jr. Speaking to the crowd too numerous to count, or comprehend.  there were many speeches given that day she said; but His, was “The Speech“.  Yes they refer to it as The Speech.

we share this speech with you today, to ask you to help us to remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and His Dream.  His Dream is the Reality of Our Generation.  Barack Obama is the Reality of His Dream.

On the top of this page is a tab, called 09′ MLK Blog Carnival - won’t you take a moment and click it, to participate in helping Us to Remember The Dream on His Birthday January 15th, 2009.

We’ll continue to blog and write more about the Blog Carnival  Daily; so Please Help Keep the Dream Alive - Participate and Spread The Word, Please.
